Our Company

Smart Acres Solutions was originally founded as Quad M Investors, in 1988, in Morganza, LA as a land leveling and development company. In 2015 Quad M transitioned to what is now Smart Acre Solutions. The company today is vertically interrogated and offers start to finish full farm development and consulting services. Smart Acre Solutions offers a level of experience and craftsmanship to elevate agricultural land to its fullest potential.

Our company uses a vertically integrated business model.

With this, alongside our experience, our dedicated team is able to offer a fuller farm design, development, and consulting services from the start of a project up until it is finished.

Leadership

Mark D. Frey

Mark Frey is a third generation farmer from Morganza, LA and the owner of Smart Acre Solutions. For the past 36 years Frey has farmed over 10,000 acres in partnership with his three brothers. He sits on the Louisiana Rice Political Action Committee and was appointed by the Governor of Louisiana to sit on the Capital Area Ground Water Conservation Commission. Today Frey now farms with his two children, Kayla and Ryan. His 30 years of land development experience stemmed from Quad M Investors which has evolved into what Smart Acre Solutions is today, a full service land development and irrigation company.

Ryan Frey

Ryan Frey is a fourth generation farmer and a 2013 graduate of Northwestern State University with a B.S. in Industrial Engineering Technology. After a short tenure at Distran Steel he took the reins of Smart Acre Solution and expanded the business model to include a focus on land development and irrigation practices. Ryan focuses on the growth of Smart Acre Solutions to include center pivots, pumps and controls, wireless technology, power units, and multiple technological resources for land development and farm expansion.
